Record #0776: I Just Can't Help It / My Tale Of Woe – JACKIE WILSON

Brunswick 55229 (original, Gloversville pressing) USA, 16. June 1962

Musicians: Jackie Wilson (vocals), orchestra and chorus conducted by Dick Jacobs.
Recording sessions: Produced by Nat Tarnopol in New York City, NY, in 1962

Wilson’s chart success was declining at this time. His previous single “Hearts” was US #58, this one #70, the next one “Forever and a Day” was #82 and the one after that “What Good Am I Without You” was #121. He must have been happy, when his single “Baby Workout” turned the tide in 1963. That record is in my next post.

List price:  Very Good + is $7,50, Near Mint is $15.
