Surprisingly, the song was not a hit in the UK during the 1960s, despite becoming a major success across the Atlantic.

I was also surprised to see that this copy was made in the Philippines as I bough this in the States.
I’ll always remember Mike Yost for his Dymo sticker on the label.

List price: This pressing seems to be quite rare, and the estimated market value would start from $35. Less with a Dymo sticker.

“Doubleback” was written for the movie “Back To theFuture Part III”. It was also included on ZZ Top’s 1990 album “Recycler”, which sold Platinum in the US, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden and Finland.

The band had a small cameo role in the movie as a country & western band. There’s also a C&W instrumental version of “Doubleback”, which is included on the movie soundtrack album.

The flipside is from their 1985 album “Afterburner”.
