Blues Image was formed in Tampa, FL, in 1966. Things started happening for them when they signed with Atco and moved to LA in 1969. This was their second single with the label and it also appeared on their second album, "Open" (Atco 33-317, US Album #147, 1970). Their next single went US #81 and basically then things stopped happening for Blues Image. They broke up and then briefly came back to make their third and final album "Red, White and Blues Image" (Atco 33-346, 1971, didn't chart).
Soon after the last album, Kent Henry joined Steppenwolf.
