This was The Beatles' third #1 in the States and the fourth #1 in the UK.
The British
Invasion had just started when this record was in the making. “I Want To Hold
Your Hand” hit #1 in the States in mid-January and the band left for their
first US tour on Feb. 7, 1964.
The title
song is McCartney’s and the flip is Lennon’s.
