“Lovesick
Blues” was Hank Senior’s first mainstream hit and one of the two cover songs he
got to US Country #1 (the other one was “Take These Chains From My Heart”). The
other 9 number ones he had were written or co-written by him.

was re-issued in 1950 under MGM K10352, which was the number of the original
shellac release in 1949.
