Price was
on a roll at the time this was released. The record was a follow-up to single “Personality”,
which had peaked at # 1 in US R&B charts few months before.
This was
the last of four #1 hits Price had, but it wasn’t all downhill from here. He
was able to sustain a fairly steady success through the 60’s and had his last
Top 40 hit with “Trying to Slip” in 1973 (unless if he pulls a rabbit out of
his hat and makes a new one, as he is still active).
List
price: Very Good+ is $10, Near Mint is $20;
stereo pressings are $50 for NM.
