This was
the trio’s first release on Coral. Unlike in most of their Coral sessions,
Burlison was not replaced by a session musician (usually Grady Martin) in this
one.
The other
songs recorded in this session were “Oh Baby Babe”, “Midnight Train” and “Shattered
Dreams”.
Though “Tear It Up” is a classic in the genre, I like “You’re Undecided” more – especially knowing
how they re-arranged it from the hillbilly style of their very first single “You’re Undecided”/”Go, Mule, Go” (Von 1006, 1954). I wish I had that single, too. Its
list price is tenfold this record’s price. :)
