If I must describe the A-side with one word, it is “smooth”. I would also call it a slow masterpiece.
Later the same year the Flamingos reissued the single with “At the Prom” as the flip side.
The original recording was by Eddy Duchin and His Orchestra in 1934 and it climbed to US #4. Art Garfunkel had a big hit with his cover version in 1975 (US #18, US AC #1, UK #1).
