The
band got into a serious car crash on their way to New York City on 22. March
1956. Carl and Jay sustained severe injuries and the band had to pause touring

Jay and Clayton Perkins were Carl’s brothers, but Johnny Cash’s guitarist Luther Perkins was not related to them.
The
flip was covered by the Beatles in 1964 with Ringo Starr singing the lead.
