The legendary James Burton is playing lead guitar on this one. Burton formed the “TCB Band” and played with Elvis during 1969-1977.

This was Elvis’ 40th and final Top Ten hit in the Billboard US charts.

Burning Love” was originally released by Arthur Alexander, who had a hit with it earlier in 1972.
