This was Elvis’ first EP release, well, half of it at least. This has sides 2 and 3 of the double-EP. The other EP (sides 1 and 4, RCA 547-0793) had songs “Blue Suede Shoes”, “I’m Counting on You”, “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry (Over You)” and “I’ll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin’)”.

“I Got a Woman” is the first song Elvis recorded in his first RCA session. The 8th take is on the record.

“Tryin’ To Get To You” was recorded in the same session with Elvis’ last SUN single, “I Forgot To Remember to Forget” / “Mystery Train”, which was his first #1 hit in the US Country.

List price:  List prices are for the two EPs together. Very Good + is $100 and Near Mint is $200. There’s also a rare version with 6 songs on both records; VG+ $750, NM $1500. Picture sleeves are VG+ $100, NM $200.
