“Sun-Elvis” meets “RCA-Elvis” on this one.
As mentioned in another post, Elvis released 11 singles in 1956. They weren’t all pure gold, though these two are fine songs. He also released some previously unreleased Sun recordings, like side B here. If a song wasn’t considered good enough back then, why release it with RCA? None of those entered US Top 50; “Blue Moon” got to US #55. Oh well, enough ranting on this. 😊
Side A was recorded in the same session with “Tutti Frutti”.
