Gene Vincent's debut album "Bluejean Bop" was also released on three EPs, this is part 1. I already posted part 2 here and part 3 here.
This EP has the same formula as the other EPs in the same series; two great originals followed by two fabulous covers.
In my opinion Vincent and his band would have needed a more experienced manager than Tex Davis. They had the potential to much bigger success than what they achieved. Admitted, he is widely considered as one of the big names in 50’s rock music, but his success in the charts was quite modest at its best.
List price: Very Good+ is $87.50, Near Mint is $175. Picture sleeves have the same pricing.
