The Spotnicks were a Swedish instrumental rock (or “instrumental surf”) group and quite popular in many other countries, too. They were touring in the UK in late 1962 and spent some time at the IBC studios recording their first LP “Out-A Space (The Spotnicks in London)” and these two tracks.
This single had also a Swedish pressing with the same catalogue number, but it was on blue vinyl. It also had a picture sleeve, whereas the Finnish pressings had label sleeves.
The Finns liked the flipside better; it was considered as the A-side, and it did well in the Finnish charts. The song became a staple in the setlists of many Finnish instrumental rock groups
