This was
soon flipped over by the DJs, making “Bird Dog” the bigger hit of this single.
A month later it was chosen as the A side of the UK release (London 8685).
Mud (an
English glam rock band) covered Bird Dog on their album “Use Your Imagination”
in 1975. I bought the LP back then and that was the first time I heard this
song.
