Del Shannon was one of the very few American rock/pop artists who were able to chart a single in the UK Top 10 during the British Invasion. "Keep Searchin'" did just that.

The title song, the flip side "Broken Promises" and two other songs were recorded in one session, where Shannon was backed by a group called the Royaltones.
