“That Lucky
Old Sun” was first recorded by Frankie Laine in 1949 and the first cover
versions by Louis Armstrong, Vaughn Monroe and Frank Sinatra were released
later that year.
Ray Charles’
cover wasn’t the best selling version of the song but it definitely is one of
the best versions.
Both songs
are from Charles’ 1963 album “Ingredients In a Recipe For Soul”.
List
price: Very Good+ is $6, Near Mint is $12
