”Twilight
Time” was a hit already in the 40’s, but this is probably the best known
version of the song.
The A&R
people at Mercury didn’t think that it had hit potential, so they wanted to
have it on the B side of the record. Only by chance it ended up on the A side
and became an international hit.
The flip
side is an unusually up-tempo piece from this group. I didn’t know they had it
in them. :)
