If any trio
was ever a supergroup, it was Cream. Bruce, Baker and Clapton were (well, still are) all superb
with their instruments – no weak link whatsoever.
Sunshine of Your Love was their biggest hit in the US and the first one that went higher in
the US than in the UK. It was ranked at #65 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of
“the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time” in 2004.
SWLABR stands for “She Walks Like A Bearded Rainbow”. That must have sounded like a totally normal song title around that time. :)
