I really
like the Wikipedia article about Bobby Vinton as it doesn’t try to claim that
his genres included rock’n’roll. He was/is strictly pop – maybe a bit of a
crooner, too.
This is a prime example of what the mainstream music was in the States around this time. Personally I’m happy that the British Invasion wiped this stuff off the table. I may be a bit opinionated here, but I just can’t find the point in this record. :)
