Pierce’s epic country hit, which I mentioned in the post of record #0037. This
spent 21 weeks at #1 of US Country!
I heard
this for the first time on the radio as I was driving with my family from Las Vegas
to Williams, AZ, few years ago. Loved it then & still do.
Surprisingly,
this was NOT recorded in Bradley’s Barn. :)
The song was originally recorded by Jimmie Rodgers in 1928.

The label says "unbreakable" ... though it may not quite be the case, these mid-50's Decca records tend to be in a better shape than other records of the same age. :)
