Faces were
more down to basics of rock’n’roll than the groups where the members played
before (Lane, McLagan & Jones in “the Small Faces” and Stewart & Wood
in “the Jeff Beck Group”).
These songs
were first recorded for the group’s third and bestselling album “A Nod Is As
Good As a Wink … To a Blind Horse” (US #6, UK #2) and then released as a 7”
single, which was a big hit in both US and UK.
List
price: “Very Good+” is $3 and “Near
Mint” is $6. Promo copy would potentially be a bit more.
