“Nature Boy” is a cover of Nat King Cole original from 1948. Cole had a US #1 hit with it and Darin didn’t do too bad either. The flipside is an original by Darin, with more pop/rock style.

The songwriter of “Nature Boy” was a proto hippie who spelled his name in lower case because he believed the capital letters should be reserved for the divine.

The title song has been covered by dozens of artists, including a Finnish crooner, Olavi Virta .
