I’ve never
been a big fan of disco music, but I have to admit that the title song of this
Hot Chocolate hit single is not that bad. There, I’ve said it! :) Hinsley plays a
nice distorted guitar riff in this.
This record
was released three years after the band’s biggest international hit “You Sexy
Thing” (US #3, UK #2).
These songs
were produced by Mickie Most, who had already produced records for artists such
as the Animals, Herman’s Hermits, Donovan, the Jeff Beck Group and Suzi Quatro.
Most won the Grammy Award for the Producer of the Year in 1964.
List
price: Very Good+ is $2, Near Mint is $4
