Vincent and Cochran toured the UK in early 1960 and these recordings were made during that time. They were backed by Marty Wilde’s band “the Wildcats”. At the end of the tour, they were in a car crash, which was fatal for Cochran and injured Vincent and the other passengers.

Big Jim Sullivan became one of the most sought-after session guitarists of the 60’s and the 70’s in the UK. He played on about 750 UK chart entries. He also gave guitar lessons to one Richard Blackmore.
Blackmore joined “the Outlaws”, which backed Vincent on his UK tour in 1963.

Brian Bennet joined the Shadows in October 1961 and Brian “Licorice” Locking followed him there in April 1962.
