Side A was done in Elvis’ first recording session (with “I Got a Woman” and “Heartbreak Hotel”) for RCA and the flip side in his first session in New York (with “Blue Suede Shoes”, “My Baby Left Me” and “So Glad You’re Mine”).

Although the title song is a recognized classic in the genre, the chart success was only moderate.
